On September 21, 2021, the IP-Day took place at the Vienna University of Economics and Business in Austria. The event was dedicated to the latest trends and developments regarding intellectual property law. The conference addresses the Austrian scientific and practice community in the field of IP Law.
Two DDM4SME representatives from University for Continuing Education Krems, Prof. Clemens Appl and Prof. Philipp Homar, took the opportunity to present the ongoing project in the course of the conference.
The audience got a brief overview over the project and the need for a better post-graduate education in the field of data economy law. Our team furthermore explained the roadmap of the project and the milestones the project already passed. Additionally, the different intellectual outputs were presented, and the partner universities were introduced.
After receiving an overview of the project itself, the audience was also informed about the next upcoming events, esp the envisaged Multiplier Events and the “Summer School” in September 2022. The Summer School will provide interested students the opportunity to experience a first glimpse of content and ways of teaching developed within the project.
With the project presentation at the IP-Day 2021 the DDM4SME team was able to explain the aim of the project to a broad audience and enjoyed the chance to exchange ideas with other experts in the field of IP-law.
